Hi, I’m Brittany, and I’m so happy you’re here.

I started Recipes With Mom to share the meals that shaped me. These are the recipes I learned beside my mom and the ones we still make together today in the same kitchen. Our home always smells like something baking, something simmering, and something filled with love. Recipes With Mom is all about us, our time together in the kitchen and the joy that comes from sharing real food.

Where It All Began

Some of my best memories were made in the kitchen with my mom. I used to stand on a stool, hands messy with flour, asking questions while she showed me how to cook by heart, not just by recipe. Cooking together meant time, laughter, and stories.

We still cook together today. Most days, my little sister joins us too, sneaking bites or helping stir. It’s still a family thing, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Why Low-Carb?

A few years ago, I started shifting to low-carb meals. I wanted to feel lighter and take better care of my body while still eating food that brought me joy. The challenge was making meals that were healthy but still felt like home.

So I started reworking the recipes I grew up with. Same flavors. Same comfort. Just with a little less sugar, fewer carbs, and more balance.
